Taiwan plans 25 gas-fired units to secure power for 10 years

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs plans to add 25 gas-fired power units with a combined capacity of 26GW to meet rising electricity demand from the semiconductor industry and AI data centers, aiming to ensure adequate power supplies for at least the next 10 years.
