Flip Electronics has signed an authorized distribution agreement with Synaptics to supply embedded computing, wireless connectivity and sensing components, with a focus on devices that are aged, nearing end of life or obsolete. The agreement targets customers in automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) markets who need continued access to components across product lifecycles. Flip specializes in sourcing and distributing hard-to-find and discontinued electronic components, including last-time-buy (LTB) and end-of-life (EOL) devices. “We are pleased to offer our products through Flip Electronics, with their emphasis on customer service and strong commitment to solving customers’ obsolescence supply chain challenges—a critical factor for our customers,” said Eric Stauffer, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Synaptics. Jason Murphy, CEO of Flip Electronics, said the partnership would expand the distributor’s authorized product portfolio and help customers maintain access to traceable components as devices move through their lifecycles. “We’re excited to welcome Synaptics to Flip’s growing line card of authorized partners,” said Murphy. “This partnership is a natural fit for what we do every day—helping customers navigate component lifecycles and keep their programs moving. By working with Synaptics and its impressive portfolio, we can give customers continued access to the authorized, traceable products they need, backed by the service and support they expect from Flip.” The post Flip Electronics Adds Synaptics to Authorized Distribution Network appeared first on EE Times Asia .
