Avnet Silica has expanded Teltonika Networks distribution through an EMEA-wide master agreement covering industrial connectivity equipment across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The agreement includes industrial modems, routers, gateways and Ethernet switches, as well as the manufacturer’s Remote Management System (RMS) for monitoring and managing deployed devices. The agreement, announced on 26 October 2026 , builds on five years of cooperation between the companies in selected European countries. It extends their existing relationship rather than establishing a new partnership. Both companies intend to invest further in inventory and joint customer activities, although financial terms and stocking targets have not been disclosed. Teltonika Networks distribution expands across EMEA The Lithuanian manufacturer’s portfolio includes industrial networking equipment supporting Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G connectivity. Its routers and gateways allow manufacturers and system integrators to connect machinery, controllers and other equipment to local and wide-area networks using ready-made hardware rather than developing their own connectivity platforms. Avnet Silica will combine the networking equipment with its existing technical support and complementary technologies, including antenna selection, cellular connectivity, embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) solutions and secure cloud connections. These capabilities are particularly relevant to industrial IoT installations operating across several countries, where cellular network availability, operator requirements and connectivity arrangements can differ. As previously reported by eeNews Europe , Avnet has offered eUICC-based connectivity solutions that allow mobile network operator profiles to be changed remotely, avoiding the need to replace physical SIM cards in equipment already deployed in the field. Industrial connectivity and remote management The expanded agreement also includes Teltonika’s RMS platform, which provides centralised monitoring and management of connected devices. For operators managing equipment across geographically dispersed sites, remote configuration, firmware management and device monitoring can reduce the need for routine maintenance visits. Walter Puhl, Wireless Technology Specialist EMEA at Avnet Silica, said demand for off-the-shelf industrial internet access solutions was increasing. He described the expansion as a logical next step following the companies’ existing cooperation, with Teltonika’s certified routers and gateways complementing Avnet Silica’s wireless portfolio. Dominykas Soliunas, Global Key Account Manager at Teltonika Networks, said the agreement combines Avnet Silica’s custom-designed solutions and technical expertise with Teltonika’s ready-to-deploy industrial networking hardware. This allows the companies to support customers with different requirements, from component-level connectivity design to the integration of complete networking devices. The expanded Teltonika Networks distribution arrangement covers established product families rather than a new hardware launch. No exclusivity provisions, individual product introduction schedules or detailed regional inventory plans have been announced.
