Care robots need AI modeling, physics simulation to understand humans

As Taiwan enters a super-aged society, labor shortages and mounting workloads in long-term care are making care robots more than an automation challenge. The key question is how to enable robots to understand the human body, determine appropriate care movements, and remain safe during close contact with patients.
